How to sync your step tracker?
The High.diet app needs permission to track your steps. If your tracker isn’t working, follow the steps below to turn on permissions.
For Apple devices
- Open Settings
- Tap Health
- Select Data Access & Devices
- Choose High.diet
- Tap Turn On All
For Android Devices
- Open Settings
- Go to Apps
- Tap High.diet App Settings
- Select Permissions
- Choose Health Connect
- Tap Allow all

How step tracking works on Android
Your step data flows this way:
Google Fit / Samsung Health → Health Connect → High.diet App
Make sure that:
- All permissions are granted for our app in Health Connect
- Your main tracking app (Google Fit, Samsung Health, etc.) shows step data. Health Connect also displays this data
How to Access Health Connect
Android 14 and up:
Open Settings → Security and privacy → Privacy controls → Health Connect
Android 13 and lower:
- Download Health Connect from Google Play
- Open Settings → Apps → All apps → Health Connect → Open
Note: Health Connect requires Android 9 or newer.
